If GM would have made one of these in 67/68 as possibly a concept and it sat for 50 years then was pulled from a shed somewhere. This is exactly what Brandon was able to envision and build. So close to 40 C10 trucks - Yes - I would day we are in the middle of the C10 Movement!! - DAMN SON!!!
So what did I do all damn week - Well Royal Purple said do you want to do interviews?
I was like - hell ya. They said we also want to have a “C10 Nation” day. I was like i like the sound of this. Win/ Win.
So I did interviews for Royal Purple and thought - oh ya - ill knock out interviews after that. Well It was tough. and the video guy had to go edit video. So we just did a few C10 Talk Facebook live videos - they actually have gotten some good traction. So check em out.
I’m not sure if I can pull em off and drop them into YouTube - but that would be cool.
I was also able to do some pod - in the magna flow booth - Ill get those out asap too.
Ok - so SEMA - Monday was pretty chill as we were getting the lay of the land - We shot a few video’s with RP and That was a good get things going day. I liked Monday - as it was chill enought - but all the fellas where either there or rolling in. So we got to help a bunch of guys and see rigs roll in - which is always cool
Tuesday - Opening day - Halloween. Oh man - so many people and trying to be at two differt places at once - because a lot of people do their unveils that day. All in all great day and fun night - I think we all went to the Piano bar that night. I didnt realize it but it was loud and i was probably yell/talking - so that next day my voice was not feeling to good.
Wed - more of the same, I would knock out some interviews and try to get out to see trucks i wanted to see. Man the one truck that had people around it at all times was Craig Piggots - River City Rods - EPIC C30 Camper. From TV people to everyone people - it was a fan fav and a SEMA hit. He had that thing loaded with alcohol - hell ya it was a hit.
Thursday - C10 NATION DAY - the banner, the truck, the shirts, and most importantly the people!!
but we grabbed a quick shuttle and headed south towards Hendo/Boulder for some Off road trophy truck fun - Torq and Tacos
Friday - Run and gun, tried to see as much as I could. I rally wanted to check out as many trucks or even cars that I hadnt seen.
A few other “Damn Son” trucks were Unruly and Duke - they were must see’s on most people’s lists - including mine.
My personal favorites that I actually got around to seeing. Best motor - Sam Castronova - '79 C-Minus Best Wheels - Sam Castronova Best Interior - Jeff from Nostalgia Hot Rods - '67 Best paint - Oscar - Ikandy damn son!!! Best accesory - Preston had a harley in the truck

GREAT NEWS!! All C10 Truck's will be allowed into Goodguys! The Goodguys team is going to allow all the 73-87 Squarebody's into GoodGuys this November for the Scottsdale Final. They are offering a 3 day pass - Friday, Saturday, and Sunday including a GoodGuys Membership for $65.00 - That's a great deal. You will also be able to sign up at Dino's Git Down on Friday night as well. Episode #57 is a few stories that I pulled from the night. Nate @the_c10_profect is a 16 year old that has been building a C10 since he was 12 at his grandpa's shop in California. His parents and Grandpa - finished the truck and brought it out to the Git Down to surprise Nate. It worked. We were able to get Nate, Dad, and Grandpa all in the same room and capture their thoughts. Mrs Maggie Leigh Doiser from episode #50, and her husband Jason made their way out to the Git Down for a great time and reunite with old friends. They left with an LS3! Winning the Midway Chevrolet LS3 raffle! Damn Son! We also recap the weekends festivities with Mr. Chevy Only Dino as well. This is the 6th Git Down and it keeps getting better like Johnny Walker Blue! Last but by far not least - John Oro and his C10 Club toy drive out in Pomona California. Hell Ya! We were able to sit down with Reno Heon from AccuAir at SEMA 2016. The guys from AccuAir set up a small recording studio just of of their show room display and it worked. It worked perfect. Reno and I were siting right next to each other - really, like 4-6 inches and we had a great time getting the C10 Nation caught up on everything going on with The Leader in Air Suspension. AccuAir just released their brand new ENDO-T, ENDO- VT, and coming Spring/Summer 2017 their new ENDO-CVT will be available to all of us! Reno and I talk about the history of the company. From the first few employee’s they had and how most of them are still with the company 15 years later. It hasn’t always been easy! Reno talks about some o f the struggles they had in the beginning and working with family. Reno admits that a ton of hard work, great timing, and some luck has helped his company prosper into what is now 15 years later the industry leader in Air Suspension. But admits that their customers are also such a big part of their success. Using AccuAir on their builds, promoting the products and being such loyal customers. By day 4 of SEMA, Reno knows that the reaction to their new ENDO system is beyond well received by the masses. Their booth was popping all week in anticipation for the products. Scott Lattinen from SicChops was in the booth this year with their killer 62 Suburban, converted to Blazer - “Overcast”. Damn Son! Reno, dives into the specifics of the ENDO, talking about the tank and its capacity, the R&D that went into if and how it is DOT approved. The ENDO-VT, which is the new tank with the valves integrated into the new aluminum tank. The values are split, 2 on each side how ever the end user chooses. We talk a lot about the new ENDO - CVT, which will be a compressor inside the tank along with the internal valves. So Rad Ass! Multiple questions about the new system arise from so many variables:
How much air will the tank be able to hold if there is a compressor inside? -What about moisture inside of the unit? -How fast will the compressors work? -What’s new about the valves - “Flow Control”? -How much is all of this going to be? -Can I build it as I go? -Can I use my old elevel? -What is the draw from the compressor? Reno answers them ALL! Reno reflects on SEMA 2016. -Proud! -Thankful! Are the two words that come to his mind! I am sure exhausted is in there too. We start to wrap up and Reno talks about what the future holds for AccuAir and air suspension. Reno, Dustin and the team have no plans of slowing things down. They have big ideas and just the team to make it happen. Their marketing team, behind Ben Terry continues to push the envelope and bring us the much desired interactive videos, tech, and up to date information. So he finally finds the C10 for him. After some long negotiations with the owner, they finally come to terms. Bryan is ecstatic, he's just purchased a beautiful 1965 C10. Now the fun part of deciding on how he should get the truck home to Reno, NV. Bryan does a TON of research and finally decides to go with Passport Transport, an enclosed, very reputable carrier. Well, this is where the story takes a twist. During transport, it appears that something happened to the brakes that caused the trailer to catch fire and Bryan's C10 was sitting in the Hot Zone! Tune in to hear what happens next and why after months of frustration and anger, Bryan's story has a very happy ending. Welcome (back) to the C10 Nation, Bryan! In this episode I also talk with Kathy a "Open Transport" Broker, her and her husband also are owner/operators of an open trailer along with Kathy's Broker business, so she provides us with a unique perspective to some common mistakes and Pitfalls to look out for. We ended up staying through Saturday and mad the trip down to Conroe with the GMG crew as they were getting ready to unveil their KILLER 49' Chevrolet truck. We ended up setting up shop around the C10 Club Texas (we are a C10 Podcast) and man we couldn't have started in a better place. Ive compiled the live interviews from the show. You might be familiar with Chris’s 1966 C10 Custom that was recently named the Street Trucks, Truck of the Year!! Wow, congrats and well deserved. Chris tells the C10 Nation how he got interested in cars and trucks - at a young age he would play with Matchbox cars and like most of us, this innocent childhood past time became a lifetime passion! Chris is married and has a young daughter - the “Hotrod Diva!” - His family is in full support of Chris and his passion. Chris is raising his family #C10Strong with that Severed Style. Speaking of Severed, Severed Ties is his other family. Chris tells C10 Talk how he go involved with Severed and why he choose this club over any other. He explains the benefits of being in Severed Ties and we discuss the Club Culture. Chris, has been in the National Guard since High School. He served a tour in Afghanistan, as a Bridge Builder. Spending a year away from his family and 6 months out of Country. When he returned plans changed on ol’ Clyde. Chris’s Uncle was a big reason why he got into Trucks and he had passed away when Chris was away serving his country. Chris’s way to pay tribute to his Uncle was build the truck in his Honor. Clyde (SEMA 2014) became the Sherman Special. Special it was - if you can’t recall this 66 C10 just take a glance at Chris’s Instagram @severdchris and you’ll know exactly why it was on the cover of one of last years C10 Builders Guide and ended up being the Street Trucks TOTY.
